For everything else, the dell driver pack will suffice. Long story short, the 11th & 12th gen driver works for VMD. I also ran a Export-Driver on the working windows instance on the SSD and try to use it with dism, no luck. Conexant High-Defination Audio Driver for Conexant CX20672-21Z Audio download (205) Conexant CX20672-21Z download. Check that utility, make sure you havent disabled the camera with - (check alternative markings on function keys.I tried the WinPE driver pack from dell support site (version A25), the Windows Deployment driver pack, the aforementioned 10th & 11th gen VMD driver from Intel, all either outright didn't let me see the disc, or BSOD. Dell have a utility called QuickSet, used to enable/disable devices. Don't know and don't care why it's in RAID mode, just assume you need to work with it. If you don't have the VMD driver loaded, it wouldn't see the SSD (m.2 NVMe in this case) in RAID mode. If I added the VMD part of the pack to the winpe wim image using dism, it BSOD upon loading, complains about missing "iaStorAfs.sys". The pack includes drivers for AHCI, RAID, and VMD. For the record, the driver package on dell support site does NOT work. This is for computers in RAID configuration (because dell loves to put their computers on RAID by default). Use driver from the 11th & 12th gen pack. both monitors detected when using either dock. Both docks have 2 external monitors and all was working well, i.e. Laptop is used with two different docks, one at office and one at home (different models). TL DR: Driver from the 10th & 11th gen pack doesn't work. A Latitude 5520 'all of a sudden' stopped detecting the 2nd external monitor. For the record, I'm on a 11th gen i5 Latitude 5520. In the process of trying to get it working, I saw many other people with similar issues, so I decided to make this PSA.
